Responsibilities

As a Fixed Asset Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. 1. Overseeing the fixed asset portfolio and ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of all fixed assets.
2. 2. Managing and executing the entire fixed asset process, including acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
3. 3. Ensuring timely and accurate monthly and year-end close of the fixed assets ledger.
4. 4. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate capital budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
5. 5. Implementing and managing asset tagging and tracking systems.
6. 6. Conducting regular audits to verify the existence and condition of assets.
7. 7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including GAAP and SOX.
8. 8. Utilizing Workday for fixed asset management and reporting.
9. 9. Training and mentoring team members on fixed asset procedures and Workday usage.

Qualifications

1. 1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
2. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset management or a similar role.
3. 3. Extensive knowledge of fixed asset accounting and accruals.
4. 4. Proficiency in using Workday for fixed asset management.
5. 5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. 7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. 8. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. 9. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. 10. A strong understanding of GAAP and SOX.
