Job summary

Audubon Companies in Houston, TX seeks an Asset Manager to govern fixed assets and facilities, ensuring balance-sheet accuracy and compliance. You will own the asset subledger, manage depreciation, tagging, inventory, and coordinate with Engineering, Operations, IT and site leadership to align physical stewardship with risk management.

The role requires a CPA and/or MBA plus 7–12 years in asset accounting or related finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 7–12 years of progressive fixed asset accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented and capable of meeting multiple deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and audits.
• Experience with ERP fixed asset modules and asset tagging.

Responsibilities

• Own the fixed asset subledger and asset master data.
• Enforce capitalization, depreciation and impairment policies.
• Support monthly close, audits and financial reporting.
• Design and maintain asset lifecycle controls.
• Lead physical inventory programs and asset tagging.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, IT and Fleet.
• Translate operational changes into financial updates.
• Coordinate facility-related asset data for insurance, tax, risk compliance.
