Arrow Senior Living’s Kent location seeks a Culinary Director to lead the culinary team in delivering five-star dining for residents. You will oversee front- and back-of-house operations, ensure meals meet high culinary standards, control portion sizes, and minimize waste.

The role combines leadership with hands-on menu development and resident-focused service. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in senior housing, formal culinary training, and strong skills in Word/Excel, communication, and staff

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3+ years of experience in senior housing or related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills.
• Proficient written and spoken communication with management, staff.
• Formal culinary, food service or restaurant training or equivalent supervisory/management experience.
• Able to create, modify, and print documents using Word/Excel and send/receive emails.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Culinary department to deliver five-star service front and back of house.
• Ensure food items meet culinary standards, manage portion control and minimize waste.
• Develop menus based on resident preferences and seasonal offerings.
