Job summary

Omni Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, NC seeks a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, and promote the hotel’s upscale amenities and local area information. The role requires strong communication and computer skills to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

As a frontline ambassador, you will coordinate with Concierge, Bell-Door, and Ideal Services teams, resolve issues, and process folios and payments accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk or cashiering preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Ability to operate computer systems accurately.
• Strong guest service mindset and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Omni's standards.
• Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses.
• Set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in according to their preferences.
• Block rooms in the computer and follow through on designated requirements.
• Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
• Maintain guest history files and security of room access.
• Document all guest requests and notify departments to resolve issues.
