Job summary

Tech Stack Advising is looking for an experienced Five9 Project Engineer to join our team in a hands-on engineering capacity. You will design, configure, integrate, test, and deploy Five9 solutions in real client environments and work directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

You will build IVRs, routing strategies, queues, campaigns, and user configurations, and you will integrate Five9 with CRMs and other business apps.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering multiple Five9 implementations.
• Hands-on Five9 configuration and engineering experience.
• Experience building IVRs, call flows, routing, skills, queues, campaigns, and related Five9 functionality.
• Experience integrating Five9 with CRM platforms and other apps.
• Understanding of APIs, REST/web services, JSON, and integration concepts.
• Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, telephony, and networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a client environment.
• Ability to work directly with clients in a professional consulting setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy Five9 contact center solutions.
• Build IVRs, call flows, routing strategies, skills, queues, campaigns, dispositions, and user configurations.
• Configure inbound, outbound, and blended environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot Five9 integrations with CRM and other business applications.
• Work with APIs, web services, connectors, and integration tools.
• Support Salesforce/Five9 integrations, including screen pops and data passing.
• Troubleshoot telephony, integration, configuration, network, and application issues.
• Participate in client discovery and technical design sessions.
• Provide realistic engineering estimates and manage work against project hours and milestones.
• Conduct technical testing and support client UAT.
• Support production cutovers, go-live, and hypercare.
• Create accurate technical documentation and complete knowledge transfer.

Tech Stack Advising is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Five9 Project Engineer to join our team.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who knows Five9 because they've actually designed, configured, integrated, tested, and deployed it in real client environments.

If your Five9 experience has primarily been project coordination or administration, this probably isn't the right position. We're looking for an engineer who can take requirements and turn them into a working solution.

What You'll Do

As a Five9 Project Engineer, you'll work directly with our clients and internal project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle—from discovery and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, go-live, and hypercare.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, configure, and deploy Five9 contact center solutions
• Build IVRs, call flows, routing strategies, skills, queues, campaigns, dispositions, and user configurations
• Configure inbound, outbound, and blended environments
• Implement and troubleshoot Five9 integrations with CRM and other business applications
• Work with APIs, web services, connectors, and integration tools
• Support Salesforce/Five9 integrations, including screen pops, data passing, activity logging, and workflow requirements
• Troubleshoot telephony, integration, configuration, network, and application issues
• Participate in client discovery and technical design sessions
• Provide realistic engineering estimates and manage work against project hours and milestones
• Conduct technical testing and support client UAT
• Support production cutovers, go-live, and hypercare
• Create accurate technical documentation and complete knowledge transfer to clients and support teams

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Demonstrated experience personally completing multiple Five9 implementations
• Strong hands-on Five9 configuration and engineering experience
• Experience building IVRs, routing strategies, queues, skills, campaigns, and related Five9 functionality
• Experience integrating Five9 with CRM platforms
• Understanding of APIs, REST/web services, JSON, and integration concepts
• Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, telephony, and networking concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work directly with clients in a professional consulting environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Highly Preferred:

• Five9 certifications
• Five9 Professional Services or Five9 partner/integrator experience
• Experience with digital channels, chat, SMS, email, and omnichannel solutions
• Experience with WFM, quality management, analytics, or reporting
• Previous CCaaS consulting or systems-integration experience

The Person We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes ownership.

You don't simply identify a technical problem and pass it along. You investigate it, determine the root cause, develop a solution, test it, and see it through.

You should be equally comfortable talking with an engineer about an API integration and explaining an issue to a client stakeholder who doesn't speak "technical."

Most importantly, you care about delivering solutions that actually work for the client's operation—not simply checking configuration items off a project plan.
