Job summary

Atkore in Pueblo, Colorado, is hiring a Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I for 1st shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). You will produce specialty fittings and custom assembly parts, inspect quality, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of shop experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong math skills for counting, calculations, and measurements.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and organization.
• Adaptable to changing conditions and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Confirm product with schedule and locate inventory.
• Remove cured fittings from oven and extract from mandrel.
• Cut fittings per drawings and finish ends, add tri-seals and O-rings when needed.
• Label, pack finished products and place in inventory.
• Perform final inspection—dimensional and visual per standards.
• Maintain WIP area for parts going to machine shop.
• Keep production records of finished, packed, and scrapped quantities.
• Inspect via saw cuts, color, length, order quantity, and detect defects.
• Ensure housekeeping in assigned area and support management as needed.
