Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, blueprints and manufacturing docs.
• Follow detailed work instructions and production travelers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect visually and dimensionally.
• Use hand tools and power tools; troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Provide feedback for process improvements; lift up to 40 lbs; stand up to 9 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchgear and related electrical/mechanical products per drawings.
• Use hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and crimpers.
• Read work instructions for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify conformance.
• Cross-check work against production travelers for customer specs.
• Report quality issues to Quality team; assist with issue resolution.
• Suggest improvements to instructions and processes.
• Maintain production tools and equipment; clean parts per safety rules.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of assemblies and parts.
• Maintain productivity to support schedule; collaborate with teams.
