Job summary

Robinson Fans, Inc. in Harmony, PA is seeking motivated and experienced Fitters to join our manufacturing team. You will fit fabricated equipment, tack weld as needed, and ensure components meet drawings and travelers, with a regular M-F shift 6:00am-2:30pm.

Strong MIG and flux-cored welding experience, plus ability to read weld symbols and shop drawings, are required. This is a hands-on role with safety, quality, and growth opportunities at a six-generation family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of MIG and flux-cored welding experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding procedures, and shop travelers.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and safety boots, climb a ladder, hear alarms, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review project assignments/instructions from Team Leader.
• Review drawings and job travelers for specific requirements.
• Understand task and develop an action plan.
• Tack assembly together per specifications.
• Ensure work meets quality standards.
• Continuously look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes.
• Practice safety in all aspects of the job.
• Identify safety issues with equipment and processes.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Fitters to work at either our Harmony, PA or Ellwood City, PA facility. As a Fitter at Robinson Fans, you will be responsible for the fitting of all fabricated equipment. You must have keen attention to detail and the ability to tack and weld as needed. The regular schedule for this position is M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.

What You Bring

• A combination of training and strong fabricating experience is required for this position.
• A minimum of two years of experience with MIG and flux-cored welding processes.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Read and understand Robinson fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding procedures, and shop travelers.
• Ability to read weld symbols.
• Solid written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other departments.
• Ability to accept feedback and adapt to change.
• Innovative and resourceful when problem-solving.
• Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and safety boots, must be able to climb a ladder, hear safety alarms, and lift to 50lbs.
