Job summary

Robinson Fans, Inc. in Ellwood City, PA is seeking motivated welders to join our team on a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm schedule. You will weld fans and housings, set up machines, and ensure parts meet our high quality standards.

Experience with MIG and Flux Core, ability to read welding drawings, pass AWS D1.1, and lift up to 50 lbs will help you succeed. A strong safety mindset and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience with MIG and Flux Core welding.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass AWS D1.1 welding qualifications (and AWS D14.6 if applicable).
• Reading and understanding weld detail drawings and welding procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear a respirator fitted for the job.
• Fluent in English.

• Participate in improvement projects
• Learn best practices from team leaders and other team members to improve your knowledge and skill levels
• Recommend process improvements on idea boards
• Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste
• Additional responsibilities as needed

We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Welders to work at our Ellwood City, PA facility. Dependent upon experience training at our Zelienople, PA facility may be required. As a welder at Robinson Fans, you will be responsible for welding most equipment fabricated onsite. This includes our fans and their housings. Each weld takes precision and skill. Our welders are critical to ensure our industrial fans meet the high-quality standards our customers are accustomed to getting. The regular schedule for this position is M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.

What You Bring

• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience with Mig and Flux Core
• High School diploma or GED required
• A “can do” attitude and a willingness and desire to learn to build your skills as a welder
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds on all fabricated components
• Ability to pass AWS D1.1 welding qualifications as well as AWS D14.6 if it applies to their shop
• Read and understand Robinson weld detail drawings, welding procedures, and shop travelers.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, hear safety alarms, wear safety boots, climb ladders
• Must be able to wear a respirator which you will be fit-tested for
• Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication.
