Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is seeking a part-time Fitness & Wellness Instructor to create personalized wellness experiences for guests and members. You will lead private sessions, group classes, and emerging fitness programs to inspire strength, health, and connection throughout their stay.

Responsibilities include designing tailored training plans, conducting assessments, and delivering engaging, luxury-level service in a Forbes Four-Star spa environment.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
• Current yoga instructor certification, 200-hour training preferred.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.

As a Fitness & Wellness Instructor at Nemacolin, you create personalized wellness experiences that inspire guests and members to feel stronger, healthier, and more connected throughout their stay. What You Will Create

• Personalized wellness journeys by designing private training sessions, small-group instruction, and engaging fitness experiences tailored to each guest's goals, abilities, and aspirations.
• Confident, lasting results through comprehensive fitness assessments, customized training plans, and thoughtful coaching that inspires progress beyond each visit.
• Dynamic wellness programming by leading yoga, strength training, functional fitness, mobility, recovery, meditation, breathwork, outdoor experiences, and seasonal classes that encourage guests to explore new possibilities.

Qualifications

• Luxury hospitality, destination spa, private club, or wellness resort experience preferred.
• Nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
• Current yoga instructor certification, 200-hour training preferred
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
• Experience providing personal training and leading group fitness or yoga classes
• Luxury resort, spa, private club, or wellness center experience preferred
• Ability to teach multiple fitness and wellness modalities
• Additional certifications such as Pilates, barre, meditation, breathwork, corrective exercise, mobility, senior fitness, aquatic fitness, indoor cycling, or nutrition coaching preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, movement mechanics, exercise physiology, and safe exercise modification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
