Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Northern Virginia seeks a friendly Fitness Coordinator to support daily operations of the Shenandoah Club facility. You will greet guests, assist with check-ins, promote fitness services, manage appointments, process payments, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

You will balance the register, stock retail items, and coordinate events, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• One to three years direct customer service and hospitality experience required.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in fitness club operations.
• Skilled in attentive customer service and calmly responding to guest concerns.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations including greeting and check-in at the front desk.
• Schedule service appointments and process payments.
• Articulate service and product knowledge to members and guests.
• Stock and price retail merchandise; manage inventory procedures.
• Balance the cash register at the end of shifts.
• Provide tours and sales support for fitness services and facilities.
• Support event scheduling from initial booking through the event.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas including reception and lounges.
