Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to create a welcoming, supportive exercise environment. You will engage with members on the club floor, guide equipment usage, and promote our Judgement Free Zone while delivering group fitness services.

Training and CPR/AED certification are encouraged, with Planet Fitness providing the necessary instruction. Responsibilities include scheduling classes, assisting with member tours, and maintaining a clean, safe workout area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members on the club floor; explain equipment use and safety.
• Assist with class scheduling for Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF).
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone and supportive member experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of equipment and facilities.
• Answer member inquiries and provide tours when needed.
