Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to create a welcoming, motivating atmosphere while guiding members on their fitness journeys. You will run the PF group fitness program, teach classes, and deliver a high-quality experience in our Judgement Free Zone.

You will greet members, assist with equipment, conduct tours, promote personal training, and ensure the club remains clean and safe. A Certified Personal Trainer certification and CPR/AED are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of exercise physiology, strength training, and cardio conditioning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage class schedule and DYOP sessions.
• Engage members on the club floor to discuss goals.
• Promote Judgement Free Zone and assist with gym policies.
• Conduct member tours and promote personal training services.
• Walk the club to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Handle member inquiries by phone or in person.
• Ensure equipment and spa areas are clean and sanitized.
