Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to support members on the club floor, guide exercises, and promote a welcoming Judgement Free Zone®. You will create schedules for group classes, conduct orientation, and assist members in safely using equipment while delivering a high level of customer service.

Daily tasks include greeting guests, answering inquiries, cleaning equipment and facilities, and ensuring restrooms remain clean.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities.
• Ensuring restrooms are clean and sanitized, stocked and clutter free by following the routine cleaning schedule.
• Walk the club floor to engage with members and support their fitness journeys.
