Job summary

Planet Fitness in Hyattsville, MD seeks a Fitness Trainer to design individualized exercise programs for members, lead PE@PF small group sessions, and promote the PE@PF program on the gym floor to engage members of all fitness levels.

You will educate, inform, and train staff on PE@PF programs, assist with service desk tasks, and help ensure safe, effective workouts while upholding the Judgment Free Zone culture.

Qualifications

• NCCA accredited certifications preferred from ACE, ACSM, NASM, NCSF, ISSA, NSCA, AFFA or NSPA.
• Must be CPR certified and provide documentation to GM.

Responsibilities

• Design individualized exercise programs for members.
• Lead PE@PF small group sessions (30–60 minutes).
• Market the PE@PF program and recruit members.
• Inspect equipment and document per SOP.
• Enroll members into sessions using computer tasks.
• Maintain daily/weekly paperwork and documentation.
• Educate staff on PE@PF programs.
• Assist at service desk and on gym floor, including membership sales.
• Answer questions about gym equipment and health.
