Planet Fitness is hiring a Fitness Trainer to lead the PE@PF group fitness program and help new members achieve their fitness goals by designing simple workouts and guiding equipment use. The role emphasizes friendly, welcoming service in our Judgement Free Zone and involves scheduling classes, coaching members, and ensuring a clean, safe gym environment.

Ideal candidates hold CPR and a nationally recognized training certificate, have 6–12 months of customer service experience, and a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate is required.
• 6–12 months of customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Run small group PE@PF programs and create schedules for members.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and teach safe use of equipment.
• Create bi-weekly updates with varied exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Greet members and guests; provide excellent customer service.
• Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
• Sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility and equipment.
• Assist with POS, membership cards, and billing questions.
