Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Fitness Specialist to join Linden Ponds, a vibrant continuing care community on the South Shore. You will assess residents, prescribe exercise programs, and educate members on proper techniques to promote healthy, active aging.

Join a team with a culture of inclusion and extensive wellness offerings. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and building strong relationships with residents and staff to encourage activity and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
  • Certification through a national organization (ACSM, ACE, SFA, AFAA) is preferred.
  • Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
  • Personal Training Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
  • Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
  • Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
  • Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
  • Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Fitness Specialist to join our team - no sales, upselling, or quotas required. Just bring your energy, expertise, and heart for making a difference!



Compensation

range $21-$26 hourly based on previous experience.

How You Will Make An Impact
