Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related work experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Certification through a national organization (ACSM, ACE, SFA, AFAA) preferred.
• Experience evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitness assessments including vital signs.
• Prescribe appropriate exercise programs: flexibility, strength, cardio.
• Educate and evaluate members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assist with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness area.
• Build relationships with residents and staff to encourage activity.
