Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Linden Ponds campus in Hingham, MA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents with holistic daily living needs. You will deliver person-centered care and participate in the continuum of care on our award-winning campus.

You’ll perform day-to-day physical therapy treatments across settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team while adhering to Medicare, state, and company policies and ensuring dignity, comfort and quality outcomes for each

Qualifications

  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Current state license in physical therapy.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic care addressing residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
  • Deliver daily physical therapy treatments across the Erickson Senior Living continuum of care.
  • Adhere to Medicare/state regulations, APTA guidelines, and company policies in care provision and documentation.
  • Implement residents' personal care plans focusing on strengths and preferences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team to address resident needs.

Location: Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistants support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs. Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $35 hourly.

How you will make an impact
  • Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Providing day-to-day Physical Therapy treatments to meet resident’s needs in all settings across the Erickson Senior Living community continuum of care
  • Following Medicare, state and federal regulations, APTA, and company policies and procedures and ensure departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations.
  • Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
  • Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.
What you will need
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Current state license (for the state in which the community provides service) in physical therapy, where applicable.
