Roles And Responsibilities

The Fitness Supervisor leads and maintains the fitness sales and revenue growth of the program, reporting to the General Manager (GM) with a dotted line to the District Manager (DM). Responsibilities include managing trainers, creating team culture, promoting and selling fitness products/services, coaching and mentoring Personal Trainers, and ensuring departmental operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Management: Oversee trainer performance, conduct evaluations, manage PT calendar, communicate with leads/clients, and oversee trainers delivering services.
  2. Operational Management: Lead operational and sales activities during trainer onboarding, manage bookings, generate leads, and support trainers’ financial planning.
  3. KPI Management: Achieve financial goals, monitor fitness assessment conversions, and manage revenue and expenses.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Engage with potential leads and clients, manage client pipelines, and host assessments and demo clinics.
  5. Team Culture Leadership: Collaborate across departments, manage staffing, mentor trainers, and uphold service standards.
Position Requirements & Experience
  • 1-2 years sales experience, preferably in fitness.
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience; 3+ preferred.
  • 2-3 years personal training experience; corporate gym setting preferred.
  • Strong sales skills, business acumen, team management, and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Child & Adult AED/CPR, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT).
  • Physical ability to perform typical fitness tasks.
Scheduling & Compensation

Requires working last day of each month, no vacation in January, and flexible shifts based on business needs. Can service up to 20 PT sessions weekly outside scheduled hours, paid at 60% revenue split, plus a 20-hour weekly base salary. Full-time benefits available for employees working 30+ hours.
