Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living in North Bethesda, MD is hiring a Fitness Specialist to assess, monitor and develop individual fitness programs for residents in our vibrant continuing care community.

Responsibilities include fitness assessments, prescribing exercise, educating residents on proper techniques, coordinating wellness activities and maintaining a safe fitness area while building strong relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Experience evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.

• Educate and evaluate residents on proper exercise techniques.
• Assist with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.

Join our team as a Fitness Specialist to join our team. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.

• Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour, to commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact

• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.

What you will need

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training Experience preferred
