Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs LLC is recruiting a Fitness Services Director for its West Hartford location. You will oversee club revenue performance, PT payroll, tours, and standardized fitness assessments while coordinating with the Membership and front desk teams.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in fitness sales and leadership, CPR/First Aid, and a current PT certification within 60 days. Expect full‑time hours, including nights and weekends, with growth opportunities in a positive culture.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years related sales experience.
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment.
• Must have current PT certification within 60 days of employment (NASM, NSCA, ACE, ISSA, NFPT)

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the department's financial performance in total fitness services.
• Hit personal & club monthly sales KPI targets.
• Manage Personal Trainer payroll & expenses.
• Partner with Membership to ensure initial fitness assessments are booked and advisors build value on tours.
• Ensure PT presentations and fitness assessments align with corporate standards.
• Develop lead generation strategies to hit targets.
• Establish Fitness Services sales goals for Consultants and front desk staff.
• Lead for all fitness products in location.
• Supplement & Inventory Management.
• Coordinate with Admin Specialist on supplement P&L.
• Mark and follow through on supplement hand-offs.
• Lead recruitment, hiring and onboarding of PT staff to meet budget forecasts.
• Provide input in performance assessments and terminations for Personal Trainers.
• Develop a high performing team through coaching and training.
• Manage KPI for all fitness staff.
• Develop product knowledge of fitness products (strong, supplements, PT, etc).
• Schedule mentor time with PTs.
• Communicate department initiatives and standards clearly.
• Create a positive workplace with opportunities for staff advancement.
