THIS IS NOT an entry-level position. This "Fitness General Manager" should have the ability to step in & sell high ticket training packages and manage a 7+ figure business independently. This role is designed for an already highly proficient General Manager with fitness industry experience who is prepared to step into a leadership role immediately.

Key Skills Required For Position:
  • SALES: You should be able to walk in on day 1 & close over 50% of the leads you meet with.
  • LEADERSHIP: You should be the first one in and the last one out. You should be able to hold weekly 1-on-1 meetings, weekly staff meetings, hold staff accountable, and lead your team to business growth.
  • FINANCE: You need to have the ability to manage the facility P&L with assistance and oversight from leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Daily appointment setting, shows, and prescriptive selling of high ticket personal training and memberships.
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company.
  • Facilitate staff meetings each week covering key data points with their team & moving the needle forward.
  • Meet with facility owners weekly to discuss lead generation and sales metrics.
  • Accountable in financial meetings to an annual budget.
  • Provide a world-class experience to every person who walks in the door.

Additional Duties:
  • Assisting with check-ins.
  • Setting up new memberships in the POS system.
  • Collecting and processing payments.
  • Providing front desk sales and information.
  • Assisting with special events.
  • Managing retail sales.
Ensure Accurate Financial Transactions:

Maintain daily/weekly statistical and financial reports. Maintain retail inventory to ensure adequate stock and prevent shrinkage.

Special Skills/Tools/Competencies/Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Experience in dealing directly with clients and providing a positive client experience.
  • Effective time management and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with critical thinking skills.
  • Positive, energetic attitude with the ability to multi-task.

  • Adherence to, and promotion of, the D1 Core Values.
  • Growth of membership/personal training and retention by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Accurate and timely completion of daily job duties.
  • Effective collaboration with vendors.

  • Associate Degree.
  • 3+ years of high ticket sales and management.
  • Knowledge of gym and retail operations.
  • Positive and energetic personality.
  • Manager who will be the first one in & the last one to leave.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation Structure: Salary + Profit Share + Bonus Potential
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year [OTE $130,000]
Bonus: Incentive structure based on facility performance
