About Us

We are a national nonprofit that provides high-performance Passive House building training and resources, including events, membership, and knowledge networking, to professionals, owners, builders, policymakers, and other stakeholders across the US. We transform how stakeholders think and work with buildings to reliably produce new and renovated buildings that use dramatically less energy for effective and affordable climate action.

About the Role

You will communicate, coordinate, and interact with a wide array of professionals, owners, manufacturers, and individuals who are core to the educational transformation of the building industry. Responsibilities include:

  1. Daily outreach to market segments via calls, emails, letters, meetings, follow-ups, and campaigns to potential customer leads and industry organizations.
  2. Represent PHN at industry events and conferences.
  3. Develop and deploy strategies using Hubspot CRM tools to build lead lists, track interactions, and document the sales pipeline.
  4. Manage sales pipelines and achieve quarterly sales goals.
  5. Collaborate with Communications, Community, and Education staff to understand our work and market environment.
  6. Research the market and develop outreach strategies in collaboration with Passive House community members nationwide.
  7. Participate in continuing education, including taking the CPHD course and exam, to deepen understanding of Passive House and enhance relevance to our constituencies.
  8. Work directly with the PHN Executive Director, other PHN Managers, and PHN Board Members, including participation in a dedicated board committee.

Work remotely, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications
  1. Prior sales experience required.
  2. Passionate about building sustainability and climate action.
  3. Willingness to learn about Passive House, including completing the CPHD course and other training provided by PHN at no cost.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  7. Proficiency with G Suite, Zoom, Hubspot, Social Media Platforms, Canva, Slack, and WordPress; tech-savviness is essential.

Salary: Base salary plus commission-based compensation.
