Job summary

Chiefs Fit is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead our club’s health and fitness programming, including personal training, group training, supplement sales, and member integration.

You will manage a high‑performing team, ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, and drive ancillary revenue while delivering exceptional member experiences. This full‑time leadership role reports to the General Manager and collaborates with the broader Chiefs Fit team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model and direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the club’s fitness programming
• Cultivate and lead a positive, team-centered work environment that delivers on company goals
• Hire, train, manage, and develop a high-quality team of fitness professionals
• Review and evaluate staff performance constructively on a regular basis
• Create staff schedules that guarantee appropriate coverage by the fitness team
• Maintain and process all paperwork associated with members, staff, or club operations
• Create a customer service focused environment that is friendly, welcoming, and supportive
• Work with the sales team to integrate members into the club in a timely manner
• Ensure the fitness team keeps current with certifications (PT, CPR/AED)
• Cross train staff so they are always “stage ready” to help members and guests
• Oversee ancillary service programs and ensure revenue goals are met
• Know your competition and suggest changes to be best in class
• Develop and implement member communications initiatives to increase retention and participation
• Monitor and improve operations and financial performance through feedback and data
• Manage all controllable expenses to stay within budget
• Maintain equipment and liaise with facilities for repairs
