Canyon Ranch Austin is seeking passionate fitness instructors to join the founding team as we open in Fall 2026 in the Texas Hill Country. You will teach wellness and fitness classes, ensuring guest safety, comfort and enjoyment, and lead aerobic, strength, and stretching sessions.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of teaching experience, plan to obtain a group fitness certification within 90 days, and hold CPR certification; a degree in a fitness-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

• Instruct Wellness and Fitness classes while ensuring guest safety, comfort, and enjoyment.
• Leads a variety of classes including aerobic exercise, strength and endurance training, muscle toning, and stretching.
• Provides expert guidance on proper body alignment, technique, and injury prevention.
• Assists guests with the safe and effective use of cardiovascular and weight equipment.
• Create an engaging, motivating class experience aligned with Canyon Ranch wellness standards.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in the fitness industry.
• Acquire a group fitness certification within 90 days of start.
• College degree in a fitness-related field preferred (e.g., physical education, exercise science, dance), with strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Current CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge required.
• Ability to maintain continuing education credits (CECs) to keep national group exercise and personal training certifications current.
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to engage and work with a diverse group of guests.
