Canyon Ranch Operating, LLC in Austin, TX invites applications for a Pilates instructor to join our founding team as we open Canyon Ranch Austin in Fall 2026. Provide personalized Pilates sessions, lead classes with expert alignment, and design routines for varied guest abilities.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of fitness teaching experience, a Pilates certification (a plus), and will obtain a group fitness certification within 90 days of start, plus CPR within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of teaching experience in the fitness industry.
• Pilates certification a plus
• Acquire a group fitness certification within 90 days of start.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or a degree in a movement-related field is a plus.
• Current CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge must be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Strong movement and alignment knowledge; Understanding of body mechanics, technique, and injury-prevention principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to engage and work with a diverse group of guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized or small-group Pilates training based on each guest’s abilities, needs, and goals.
• Lead safe, engaging classes with proper alignment cues, modifications, and supportive supervision.
• Select movements and design routines that match participant experience levels and physical limitations.
• Maintain a calm, attentive presence and uphold Canyon Ranch service standards in every interaction.
• Clean equipment and activity areas after each session to support safety and readiness.
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and exceptional guest service in all settings.
