Job summary

Bonita Bay Club in Florida is seeking a Fitness Front Desk team member to greet members, manage phone inquiries, and schedule personal training sessions. You will ensure a clean, welcoming environment at the 20,000 sq ft Lifestyle Center and assist with gym floor duties as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, First Aid/CPR, and strong customer service skills. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced setting and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be available to work Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Weekends/Holidays.
• Must have First Aid and CPR/AED Certifications (training provided if not yet attained).
• Knowledge of Fitness equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have some experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and answer phone calls at the Fitness Front Desk.
• Book personal training appointments and handle billing for services.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and assist on the exercise floor as needed.
• Tour members through the center, answer equipment questions, and assist with laundry and cleaning of studios.
• Provide excellent customer service and facilitate a fast-paced, friendly environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF WORKING THE FITNESS FRONT DESK:

When working at the Fitness Front Desk of Bonita Bay Club, you will be working in our 3-story Lifestyle Center with 20,000 square feet dedicated to exercise, featuring wall-to-wall Technogym equipment. You will flow between Front Desk 1 and Front Desk 2 duties.

Front desk 1 is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk, greeting members and their guests, answering phone calls, booking personal training appointments, and billing for the services. This role is very dynamic and fast-paced.

In the Front Desk 2 role, you are responsible for keeping the exercise floor clean and free of clutter. You may be asked to tour members through the center or answer questions regarding the machines. A major part of Front Desk 2 includes doing laundry, wiping down equipment, and cleaning the fitness studios.
