Job summary

Crunch Fitness - JFF North America is hiring a Fitness Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and install gym equipment across multiple sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues, keep precise service records, and support safety and member experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in fitness maintenance, familiarity with major brands, and the ability to read schematics; certification or willingness to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical cert/associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of mechanical repair or facilities maintenance in fitness.
• Familiar with major brands and certified or willing to be certified.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge; lift 50–75 lbs; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and preventively maintain cardio, strength, and functional equipment.
• Respond to service requests and troubleshoot malfunctions promptly.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Maintain detailed service records and part inventories.
• Ensure safe, clean maintenance areas and coordinate with facilities.
• Assist with delivery, installation, and calibration of new equipment.
• Report recurring issues and advise on upgrades or replacements.
