As an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 36 - 45 clients per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach, manage time, and motivate multiple clients in a group setting. An OTF Coach must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the client’s experience and results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver predesigned workouts to groups up to 36 - 45 clients
• Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions
• Build OTF attendance and retain current clientele
• Ensure safety of participants regarding heart rate and exercise technique
• Modify exercises to accommodate various skill levels
• Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and educational presentations
• Designate 8-20 hours a week to the studio(s)
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Collaborate with OTF team to build membership and studio culture
• Assist sales associates with studio tours and sales when needed
• Must take at least 2 OTF classes per week
• Attend 2 studio events per month

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
• Must hold OTFit fitness certification and one of the following: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, or AFAA
• Bachelor’s degree in an exercise-related field is preferred
• CPR/AED certification
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in group fitness or personal training
