Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and ensure a positive member experience while driving financial success at the local club.

You will recruit and supervise staff, manage front desk activities, promote brand initiatives, and uphold safety and cleanliness. This full-time leadership role reports to the District Manager and requires strong customer service and operational skills.

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Oversee member service to ensure great customer experience.
• Front desk duties: greeting members, tours, service questions.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coach and counsel performance to meet standards.
• Ensure opening/closing of gym.
• Train staff on current marketing promotions.
• Finish onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
• Ensure club is open and staffed during all hours.
• Ensure adherence to company policies.
• Order supplies and track inventory.
