Job summary

New York Sports Club is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the General Manager in operating a high-performing fitness club. The AGM will drive net revenue through membership growth, higher dues, and ancillary services while ensuring excellent member experiences.

The AGM will recruit, onboard, and develop club staff, coach performance, and manage daily operations to support profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail with P&L exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily club operations and drive revenue growth.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of staff.
• Manage P&L with GM, monitor budgets, and expenses.
• Coach team to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of member experience.
