Job summary

New York Sports Club and our family of brands is a long-standing, dynamic fitness club brand serving the Northeast. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) partners with the GM to ensure efficient operations, drive net revenue through membership growth, and lead club staff.

The AGM is non-exempt, focused on profitability and service quality. You will support in managing P&L, employee development, and day-to-day workflows while fostering a service-oriented culture and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years management/supervisory experience in fitness,hospitality or retail with P&L.
• Bachelor’s degree in business,sales,marketing,finance,or related field preferred.
• Comfortable leading outreach and referral activities that generate leads, contacts, and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in driving net revenue gain through membership growth and higher dues.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly sales data to project revenue and set goals.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of club staff with GM support.
• Promote a culture of performance, accountability, and customer service excellence.
• Own scheduling and basic club operations to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Resolve member issues promptly and maintain a high level of member satisfaction.
