Morton College seeks a Part-Time Fitness Center Specialist to deliver friendly member service, supervise center usage, and support daily operations. The role includes registering members, creating IDs, and assisting with data entry and testing procedures.
The position requires an Associates degree, CPR/First Aid certifications, and strong communication and teamwork. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are expected to meet facility needs.
Fitness Center Specialist (Part-Time) will provide customer servicefor Fitness Center members; greet the members, register themembers, create Fitness Center ID’s for the members. Fitness CenterSpecialist will supervise Fitness Center members, perform lightmaintenance of equipment in fitness center with responsibility ofalerting Manager of Fitness and Nutrition Center any problems,perform data-entry duties and conduct fitness testing. FitnessCenter Specialist will perform other duties as assigned by Managerof Fitness and Nutrition Center.
Required Qualifications
Associates degree. Current CPR and First Aid certifications,data-entry and computer skills, and the ability to communicate wellwith Fitness Center members. Must be friendly, assertive,responsible, and a good team player. Knowledge of and ability todemonstrate proper exercise techniques.
Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values ofcompassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, and tolerance. Mustbe able to work flexible hours, including nights andweekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working in a fitnesscenter or related environment.
