The National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Front Desk Attendant to ensure exceptional member service. You will be the first point of contact, handling check-ins, information provision, scheduling, and daily administrative tasks within the fitness facility.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and CPR/AED certification. This role requires on-site presence and adherence to NIFS policies, with opportunities to aid in safety

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide top-notch, customer-focused attention during each member interaction.
• Monitor facility entry and admit eligible clients.
• Check-in participants and maintain accurate participation records.
• Assist with daily operations (phones, messages, schedules).
• Provide current information about the facility, memberships, programs and services.
• Process new member applications and health forms.
• Issue towels and locks and handle sales as applicable.
• Assist with monthly reports/hours totals.
• Assist staff with first-aid and CPR/AED in emergencies.
• Demonstrate work ethic, customer care, and attention to detail.
• Uphold policies in the NIFS Employee Handbook; perform other duties as assigned.
