Job summary

Stratton is seeking a Seasonal Fitness Center Front Desk Attendant to provide exceptional guest service and manage basic operations at the fitness facility. The role is part-time and seasonal, paying $20.00/hour.

Recruitment for this position continues through December and includes opportunities to engage with guests and members in a dynamic mountain resort environment. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, handling cash, processing memberships, booking services, stocking retail items, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Strong computer literacy.
• CPR/AED certification provided if needed.
• Personal Training certification a plus.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a fitness/spa center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests, employees, vendors and other visitors in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Opening and closing procedures.
• Cash handling and register duties.
• Process membership applications.
• Retail merchandising and stocking.
• Book massages, tennis lessons and court times, personal training sessions.
• Assist the maintenance team in keeping the facility clean and attractive.
• Follow all safety codes and enforce rules.
• Assist with events as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Fitness Center Front Desk Attendants provide excellent customer service to our members and their guests, and are knowledgeable about our facility and the resort. This is a part-time seasonal opportunity, paid at $20.00/hour. Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Greet and direct guests, employees, vendors and other visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
• Opening and closing procedures
• Cash handling and register duties
• Process membership application
• Retail merchandising and stocking
• Book massages, tennis lessons and court times, personal training sessions
• Assist the maintenance team in maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of the facility
• Follow all safety codes
• Assist with events as needed
• Enforce all facility rules and regulations
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Strong computer literacy skills
• CPR/AED certification, company will provide if needed
• Personal Training certification, a plus
• Previous customer service experience, preferred
• Experience working in a fitness/spa center environment, preferred
