The New Orleans Jewish Community Center is seeking a part-time Fitness Attendant to help keep the Uptown campus gym clean, organized, and welcoming for members. You will assist with spotting, equipment maintenance, and towel/bathroom area upkeep, ensuring a positive member experience.

Shift times include Saturdays and Sundays, 1:30 pm–7:00 pm with additional shifts as needed. CPR/First Aid certification is required, and a friendly team attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• General gym experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Detail oriented and able to follow directions.

Responsabilités

• Rerack weights and spot members during workouts.
• Maintain knowledge of all machines and equipment.
• Keep gym areas clean, stocked with towels and supplies.
• Walk through locker rooms to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Report broken equipment or lighting to Facilities Manager.
• Work independently and as part of a friendly team.
