About Pee Dee Regional Center
Pee Dee Regional Center is a residential facility of the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs located in Florence, SC, serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage funds for individuals participating in the Community Residential Program, issuing all monthly checks to DSN Boards in accordance with DDSN policy.
  • Perform Work Activity Centers (WAC) payroll accurately and timely.
  • Manage files for the Banking & Billing system, ensuring completeness, accuracy, neat filing, and proper purging according to DDSN standards.
  • Maintain accountability for the Regional Center Consumer Bank, serving as the primary backup to the cashier, participating in dual control functions, including monthly finance drawer audits and consumer banking overviews for new employee orientations.
  • Compile statements and balances of consumer accounts, ensuring they are sent to the appropriate entities as needed.
  • Review the Regional Center's Client Visa bills, monitor purchases according to the SCDDSN Purchasing Card Policy, reconcile the monthly Bank of America Visa bill, and ensure timely payment.
  • Assist with reporting for consumer Medicaid billing days submissions and the filing of 181's.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance, Purchasing, and Supply.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in accounting or bookkeeping, Microsoft Office, and SCEIS
