The Office Technician I is the entry-level position in this administrative, technical, and fiscal job series. It requires at least journey-level skills, including administrative, accounting, and technical support knowledge, while learning specific regulations and guidelines within a County department. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy are essential. Duties focus on administrative, accounting, fiscal, and customer support functions, with variation depending on the organizational unit.
The Office Technician II is a fully qualified, journey-level class. Incumbents perform duties independently with minimal supervision, possessing knowledge of standard government accounting processes and procedures, and may participate in developing administrative systems.
The Office Technician III is the advanced journey-level class, requiring high skill and expertise in complex administrative and fiscal activities, often providing lead supervision and specialized program support.
