Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping principles and current office practices.
• Proficiency with financial software and office equipment; ability to prepare financial reports.

Responsibilities

• This is a fiscal position within the Erie County Office of Drug and Alcohol Abuse and reports directly to the Program Director.
• Fixed Asset Accounting: Serves as backup liaison for County's fixed asset management program and part of inventory team.
• Affixes property tags to new equipment; conducts annual and as-needed asset inventories.
• Purchasing: Tracks Purchase Orders and Credit Card purchases to ensure arrival and payment.
• Quality Assurance / Financial Reports: Create MA Eligibility Verification batch files; monitor MA-eligible clients.
