You will review, analyze, and make fiscal projections of allocations, revenue, and expenses in support of the entire unit. You will prepare budget reports, identify and analyze trends, and verify and balance the School’s operating and permanent budget allocations and expenses. You will initiate and execute fiscal year budget planning, including carry forwards, projections, and account setup. In this role, you will verify, consolidate, and balance the School’s revenue transfers and cash receipts.You will lead support staff and direct faculty and staff on proper business policies and fiscal procedures for operational functions, including purchasing, contracts, service agreements, travel, and other operational tasks related to research labs. In addition, you will consult with new and existing School of Molecular Biosciences faculty, the Director, and the Administrative Manager regarding faculty accounts, including startup funding and allowable expenditures on external grant and institutional funding. You will serve as expenditure authority on department accounts, monitor operational risk, and advise the Administrative Manager of identified risks.Additional Information:This is a full time (100 % FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.Monthly Salary: $4,517 to $5,779 | Range #49 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
