As the Finance/Budget Manager, you will serve as the lead non-faculty administrator for the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, a diverse academic and research department with more than 30 faculty programs. You will be responsible for the fiscal, budgetary, administrative, and operational management of the department and will serve as a principal advisor to the Chair on fiscal, personnel, operational, and administrative matters. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee departmental financial resources, including operating, grant, contract, gift, and other funding sources. You will supervise administrative support staff, ensure compliance with university, state, federal, and granting agency policies and regulations, and collaborate with departmental, college, university, and external partners, including USDA-ARS units, to support the effective administration and overall functions of the department.
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement. Monthly Salary: $4,942.10 - $7,569.55 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
