Job summary

Boston College is seeking a Fiscal & Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations, processing vouchers and reimbursements, and P-card management within the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.

The role reports to the Associate Director and collaborates with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and the Office for Sponsored Programs to ensure compliance and efficient daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Employment Type: On-Site | Nonexempt | Full-Time

Hiring Range: $24.78/hr to $30.96/hr., 35 hours per week. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.

The Fiscal & Procurement Specialist serves a key customer service support role for the fiscal and procurement operations of the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. The position works as part of a team that supports 23 departments within the Morrissey College. The position assists the Service Center team with matters related to procurement, payment processing and compliance while contributing to the Service Center’s effectiveness and successful daily operations.

Reporting to the Associate Director, the Fiscal & Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement operations, processing vouchers and expense reimbursements, reconciling and approving P-card transactions, and assisting with budgeting and compliance activities. It involves interaction with other departments including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and the Office for Sponsored Programs. University operating and grant policies and procedures must be understood and applied.
