Job summary

FirstStaff RN Resources, part of FirstHealth, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide an internal resource for unplanned staffing needs. You will support vacancies, leave of absences, patient census and call-ins across all acute care locations.

Two levels of clinical knowledge will be utilized, with Level 1 covering Med/Surg, Intermediate Care, Outpatient, Surgical Admissions Unit, Women & Children Services, and Level 2 covering Critical Care, Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time acute care nursing experience.
• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Line safety certifications in BCLS, PALS and/or ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide an internal nursing resource for unplanned staffing needs due to vacancies, leave, census or call-ins.
• Support both Level 1 and Level 2 clinical knowledge across all acute care locations.
• Fill staffing across Med/Surg, ICU, ER, L&D, PACU and related units.
• Collaborate with FirstHealth facilities to ensure continuity of care.

Level 2: Critical Care, Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, PACU

Minimum of 2 years current full time acute care experience required in clinical area. Current NC RN license.Line-Safety certifications in BCLS, PALS and/or ACLS or other applicable specialty area certifications required.
