Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an internal staffing RN resource to cover unplanned staffing needs across its acute care locations. The role requires a current North Carolina RN license and at least two years of full-time acute care experience, with BSN within five years.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' full-time acute care experience required.
Current NC RN license.
Line‑Safety certifications in BCLS, PALS and/or ACLS or other applicable specialty area certifications required.
BSN degree within five (5) years of employment date.

Responsibilities

Provide an internal nursing resource for unplanned staffing needs due to vacancies, leave of absences, patient census, patient acuity and employee call-ins.
Two levels of nursing resources will work across all acute care locations of FirstHealth.
