Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or higher education.
• Two years of work experience in higher education advising or counseling.
• Commitment to diversity and supporting academic success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise first-year students on progression and course selection.
• Review placement scores, transcripts, and transfer work to aid planning.
• Maintain frequent contact with advisees and monitor academic progress.
• Refer students to counseling, financial aid, or other services as needed.
• Collaborate with colleges/ departments to ensure understanding of degree programs.
