Qualifications

• Requires welding certification to AWS/ANSI standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders; weld symbols and measure parts.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions and work orders.
• Positions, clamps, and tack-welds parts to fixtures.
• Sets up equipment per blueprints and makes adjustments.
• Welds per blueprints and guidelines; performs quality checks.
• Grinds excess welds and sharp protrusions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
