Job summary

General Fasteners Company in Portage, MI is hiring a full-time Warehouse Operations Associate to join a growing local team. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, while keeping inventory accurate and the workspace safe and organized.

The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work on Saturdays through Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Prior warehouse experience is a plus; forklift certification is a plus as well.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with warehouse or distribution is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
