Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a 1st shift Warehouse Associate (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) to manage receipt, storage and distribution of materials. You will operate a forklift, scan items, and ensure accuracy and safety in daily warehouse tasks.

Load/unload heavy units, maintain records, and collaborate with team leads to satisfy customers. Requirements include a High-School diploma and an Industrial Lift Truck License, plus strong stamina and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High-School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Industrial Lift Truck License is required.
• Basic verbal communication and listening skills are expected.
• Maintain clean criminal record is required.
• Read and understand written and oral instructions; match series of numbers and letters.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload heavy window and door units from delivery truck.
• Operate picker's forklift to move products and access upper storage levels.
• Update Warehouse Management System using hand-held scanners.
• Cross-verify loaded/unloaded products for accuracy and completeness.
• Interact with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Process warehouse documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform manual cycle counts to measure inventory accuracy.
