Job summary

MJ Recruiters on behalf of a privately held logistics company seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead the first shift warehouse operations. You will oversee a team of up to 15, report to the VP of Operations, and drive daily tasks, safety programs, and customer-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse management experience.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT).
• Supervision experience in non-union environments.
• Experience using ERP/WMS and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: manage daily warehouse operations.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: implement safety programs.
• Financial Management: monitor costs and labor utilization.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: align with ISO/QMS standards.
• Team Leadership & Coaching: conduct performance reviews.
• Customer & Business Development: support contracts and visits.
• Facility & Asset Maintenance: oversee maintenance and upgrades.
